24 year old Erykah was born in Tulsa Oklahoma USA, and raised in Freeport Grand Bahama, The Bahamas. Her birth name is actually Erica Monique Rolle, and now married name is De Luca.
Photography became a passion after a camera was placed in her hand to do underwater photography in her family business at Sunn Odyssey Divers. On her spare time, she started taking pictures of herself - dolled and dressed up. She then stepped out into her backyard catching nature, then later grabbing friends to try them at modeling.
After the new wave and trend of airbrushing photography or "Photograpic Perfection", she began to take more pride and appreciation for the art of naturality in other photographers work, as well as her own. Although airbrushing and exstensive editing has it's wonderful place in the world, there is and always will be a higher place for the more natural look; whereas airbrushing can leave people looking like someone else, or like they had plastic surgery too-many times.
Her photographic work consists of "on location" hour photo shoots, from the beach, to the water, to a garden, to old sightings. She also assists with posing, makeup application (mainly eyeshadows. Foundation and powder is overrated, the natural sheen of skin gives lustre and youthfulness), sells, and rents jewelry accessories, does any needed editing such as "tuckin' in ya belly" :D as well as clearing up acne, stretch marks, and spots. She strives for a NATURAL look, so at the end you still look like yourself, and your skin looks natural.
She is also a jewelry and fragrance designer, singer/song writer, and model herself now. And her list of "what she can do" goes on and on, always taking on new ideas and challenges!
